4-H is the largest out-of-school youth program in the United States. In Curry County, our club, school enrichment and camping programs reach approximately 700 youth in grades K-12 annually. We rely on our trained adult volunteers and community partnerships to offer a variety of high quality programming ranging from animal science, art, consumer and family science and more.
Through 4-H young people develop skills and gain confidence needed to become contributing, productive, self-directed members of society. Our programs use current research to provide intentional, high quality learning experiences that provide youth the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to the world around them.
