Online Communities Reporter Tool
Here is an excellent resource for all of you out there looking for community data. Maybe you are writing a grant, or just trying to collect data to help you with your organizations mission.
The Communities Reporter Tool grants public access to community data and is easy to understand. It is based on a collaboration between the Ford Family Foundation, Oregon State University, and the Oregon Community Foundation. Check it out and tell us what you think:
A Guide to Nonprofit Board Service in Oregon
The Oregon Department of Justice puts out this excellent document outlining nonprofit board service in Oregon. Paper copies can be obtained from the DOJ, or you can view a copy here.
The Nonprofit Association of Oregon Helpline
This handy helpline is a sponsored resource made available to Oregon Nonprofits. They can answer basic questions and give resource referrals. They cannot answer legal questions, but will provide legal referrals. NAO members have priority service.
